Exams are done. And it's about bloody time too. I was the unfortunate mug who was fisrt to start and last to finish. Of course some good did come of the exam period. The fact that I had nothing else to do but work meant i was able to rekindle some love with an old flame of mine. Yes, thats right Television. I don't think I have ever sat through so many episodes of Star Trek, Stargate, Simpsons, My Family and Last of the Summer Wine. If only they did a degree in those. I'd easily get myself a Geoff!(Geoff Hurst= First)
As a post exam celebration we ventured to the pub and then some of us amde it to Rock City. 100 Reasons were playing but I could give you 100 reasons to never see this band. I've done more tuneful farts. They've been around for years and still no-one really knows who they are which n my mind just the worlds way of saying 'you're crap, go home you nauseating adolescents!!' I spent a productive morning on Sunday though watching the Lion King. It's amazing. Nuff said. Wet my appetite for when I go to see it on stage with Becca next month.
As exams have drawn to a close we've seen an increase in the number of people wanting to view our house. And i hate them all. I've a good mind to invite the next group in just so I can slaughter them slowly and painfully in the basement. There's only so many times you can have people in saying to each other "i don't like it", or "theres only one window, not much light is there." I'm planning a trip some of their halls so I can poo on their stuff.
One thing to be thankful for is the end of "Celebrity" Big Brother. Big Brother= Big Bother= WHy Bother! The entry requirement this year seemed to have been lowered to anyone who might have seen a celebrity, even on the telly or anyone who could make a racial slur. Big Brother is not only responsible for filling our screens with more crap but also for continuing to further the career of Russell Brand, a man who I can only describe as a disgusting specimen of humanity and a waste of DNA. And those are his redeeming qualities.
