Well I've spent the weekend at Becca's actual house and I have to say I had a really good time. Tiring but great fun. It was nice to just not be in a university environment for once.
We got to Uckfield on Friday and were whizzed out to a charity auction where I helped model various items that were up for grabs. Unfortunately Becca wouldn't let me bid for the use of an apartment in Bulgaria or to have my own Pony for a day. Shame coz I could have used the pony to ride to Bulgaria, or as near as I could get in a day. Still, I got a free meal out of it and it was just divine. Oh,just to taste food which cost more than 15p from Sainsburys sent a shiver down my spine.
Saturday brought bonfire night but not before a superb toasted sandwich at Corbins, where Becca used to work and is apparently Britains number 1 Cheesemongers. My kind of place (cue memories of CU04*sigh*). Lewes Bonfire night was really cool though with a massive parade and lots of burning effigies. Very cool looking even if we did manage to lose all but one of Becca's friends.
And Sunday brought the all you can eat chinese buffet.Such a beautiful time for all of us. I treasure that memory. We also had some interesting train journeys to and from Uckfield which I spent embarassing Becca by making comments on everyone that got on the train and playing silly games like bogies!Hehe, I'm mature. Still, she took it in her stride.

Back in Notts now and have just organised going for a meal at the house of a couple from church which will be nice. I'm getting picked up and everything.Top smart. Alo so planning a trip back to the Diff in early December but if anyone from St Mark's is reading this 'No I am not available to play guitar/do a drama, reading or prayer/sacrifice the firstborn'.
